Included in the terrific results this year is Johan Calitz, whose clients this year took No. 5 (a 141-pounder), No. 6 (a 137-pounder) and No. 7 (a 136-pounder); and Bottle Pan Safaris in the Chobe District, which accounted for a jumbo that shares the No. 5 spot. I should also mention that Johan Calitz Safaris has just taken another big elephant in an Okavango Delta area as I write this. It has yet to be officially weighed, but I am told it may take the No. 3 spot. All in all, it has been a very good season in Botswana.
