As for the second big jumbo that has been taken so far this season, it was described to us in a brief e-mail July 19 as being an 81-pounder taken in Block B of the Niassa Reserve in Mozambique. The lucky hunter (Americans cannot import ivory from this country) was Jamie Garcia Diaz of Spain. The safari operator was the American-run company we told you about last month, Kambako Safaris. The PH was Johnnie Johnson. We have uploaded a photo of this ivory, as well as the ivory taken in Namibia, to "Trophy Gallery" on our web site, www.hunting report.com).
