Finally, I am happy to report that Zambia produced some wonderful trophies this past season. Here is a quick rundown of the most important ones. The ranking system (No. 1, etc.) refers to the ranking of the animal within Zambia, not in SCI: lion (16 3/16 x 10 2/16), a new No. 1 taken by client Michael B. Nice while hunting with Sofram Safaris; leopard (10 11/16 x 6 6/16), a new No. 1 taken a by client (anonymous) hunting with ProHunt Safaris; leopard (10 2/16 x 6 0/16), a new No. 2 taken by client Lowelle Taylor while hunting with Luangwa Crocodile; sable (49 4/8 x 49 4/8 x 10 1/8 x 10 2/8), a new No. 5 taken by client William H. Crouse while hunting with Hunters and Guides; red lechwe (27 7/8 x 27 7/8 x 7 6/8 x 7 7/8), a new No. 2 taken by client William H. Crouse while hunting with Hunters and Guides; and bushbuck (17 6/8 x 17 1/8 x 5 7/8 x 5 6/8), a new No. 1 taken by client Michael B. Nice while hunting with Sofram Safaris. I have uploaded the entire list of noteworthy trophies to The Hunting Report web site. Get in a good safari somewhere in Africa this coming season.
