New Weatherby Hunting And Conservation AwardPublished: December - 2004 Last month, we passed on to you the latest information about the Conklin Award and Carlo Caldesi Award. Well, here is the latest on the prestigious Weatherby Hunting And Conservation Award and the new Peter Hathaway Capstick Hunting Heritage Award. The Weatherby Award this year will be going out to Dave Hanlin of Erie, Pennsylvania. The award ceremony will be held at the Silver Legacy in Reno, Nevada, on Tuesday January 25.
The Capstick Award, new this year, will be going out to Harry Tennison, one of the grand old men of hunting and conservation. His many contributions include being Founding Member of Game Conservation International. The award ceremony will be held January 8, during the 25th Annual Dallas Safari Club Convention in Dallas Texas. More details at 972-980-9800.
