Gun Jam-Up In ChinaPublished: September - 2004 The gun jam-up in China may be about over, according to correspondent Tom McIntyre. At press time, he said Wang Wei of China Adventure Travel had just sent him an e-mail expressing optimism about the gun ban coming to an end and encouraging would-be clients to start sending him the required paperwork to apply for temporary gun import permits.
"I must emphasize that this is not an official letter saying that China is re-opened," Wei writes in the e-mail to McIntyre. "This is to prepare clients for a possible re-opening early, so there will be enough time to make arrangements."
