Finally, some characteristically big jumbo are being reported in Botswana again this year. The ones we had heard about at press time include a 72 x 72-pounder taken by subscriber Jeff Chaulk with Rann Safaris, PH Martin Pieters (says he saw 15 to 30 elephants a day and could have shot a 60-pounder at any time); and a 70-pounder taken by subscriber Pat Short with Safaris Botswana Bound, PH Graeme Pollock.
