Over in Ethiopia, it's been a while since we have received a report on a safari with Dimitris Assimacopoulos of Libah Hunting Safari. Hence this special mention of a report we just received from subscriber Per Agersted in Denmark. Seems he hunted with Assima- copoulos this April/May and took what he calls "very good trophies" of mountain nyala, Meneliks bushbuck, Abyssinian greater kudu, East African bush duiker, Beisa oryx, Cordeaux dik-dik, northern gerenuk, spotted hyena and Abyssinian Bohor reedbuck. He took all these animals in spite of having to shorten a 28-day safari to 12 days because of a family emergency. "Dimitris and his staff did a great job making my shortened safari a success," Agersted writes. Significantly, he says Assimacopoulos told him he has been 100 percent successful on seven mountain nyala hunts this year, if you include one wounded animal in the count. Agersted says he booked his hunt through Wild Adventure, owned by Bobby Jakobsen of Denmark.
