Update On TanzaniaPublished: March - 2004 In Tanzania, if you are among the legions who lost money when South African PH Jaco du Plessis disappeared last year, you may want to know that Hunting Report subscriber Jimmie Rosenbruch is generally satisfied with the agreement he has hammered out with Zuka Safaris, the company that has taken over du Plessis' areas in Tanzania. Seems Rosenbruch had paid du Plessis $13,000 toward a 1 x 1 buffalo hunt in the Selous. The fee paid for exclusive use of the Lucilla camp by himself, one other hunter and eight non-hunters. "I met with Ryan Weiland of Zuka Safaris at SCI," Rosenbruch writes. "We sat alone for an hour, and I was impressed with his resolve to `make right' du Plessis' commitments. While he could not refund the money I paid to du Plessis, he did agree to provide all of the services du Plessis had been paid for at no additional cost to me."....
