In Chad, we have just received a report that a new hunting territory southeast of N'Djamena is about to open. European Correspondent Dr. Christophe Schüele describes the area as a former bird hunting area where no big game hunting has ever been conducted. "I will be the first trophy hunter there," he reports. "There are possibilities for really interesting species such as Dorcas gazelle, topi, red-fronted gazelle, oribi and others." Schüele says he will be visiting this area in March 2004. We'll publish his report as soon as he returns.
