The other evolving country is Congo, as in Democratic Republic of Congo (the former Zaire). As we have told you before, long-time Tanzania safari operator, George Angelides, has been at work here for close to a year, battling to be able to offer safaris here in 2004. The news here is, we are working with Angelides as this issue goes to press to help pay for a non-hunting exploratory safari this year, with the understanding that the returning client will file a detailed report on what he sees and hears. We may have this on-site report as early as next month.
