The letter we just received from attorney Harold Lee says our report was misleading in that none of the debts listed in Lozano's bankruptcy "could be characterized as `hunting deposits'." Moreover, Lozano's company, Tanzania Trophy Expeditions, was a sole proprietorship business. "Thus any business debt was also Mr. Lozano's debt. After filing bankruptcy, Mr. Lozano even if he had the resources to do so could not return monies to any creditor because of the US Bankruptcy Laws."
Lee goes on to give several reasons why Lozano was forced to file for bankruptcy, and they will make for interesting reading by anyone affected. As demanded by Mr. Lee, we are prepared to make copies of the entire letter available to any subscribers who would like to read it. A stamped, self-addressed envelope would be appreciated. We are also attaching a copy of his letter to the original article we wrote, and which can now be found in our database as article No. 946.
