Zimbabwe 2003 Hunting SeasonPublished: December - 2002 Elsewhere in Africa, to review quickly, the major stable hunting countries are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana (which has closed lion hunting), Mozambique, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Cameroon. There are hunting opportunities in Burkina Faso, Benin and Chad as well.
Zimbabwe, of course, remains open too, and we are cautiously optimistic that successful hunts will continue to be conducted there next year. Hunting and other forms of tourism are enjoying strong governmental support. Nothing we see on the horizon right now should change that in 2003. Here's hoping.... ........(continued) |
