Last month, you'll recall, we told you that the US State Department has officially named the NPA a terrorist organization, and that action has caused the NPA to issue some threatening statements. The heightened rhetoric apparently frightened clients, because Carlson says he has given up trying to convince hunters that his old area is safe. What he's done is move his entire base of operations to a new area that's completely free of guerrillas.
"The camp I plan to use is the same coconut farm where Hunting Report subscriber Truman Clem shot his buffalo this past summer," Carlson told The Hunting Report at press time. "The area is just as good for water buffalo and actually better for wild boar. I hope this calms minds and nerves about my hunt."
