Seems we caught the attention of numerous subscribers last month when we began putting the little alert at the end of various stories in the print edition of
The Hunting Report. Several people called to ask what it was all about, some were even Email Extra subscribers who had never before signed into the password protected section of our website and couldn't remember their passwords.
As I told you last month, we often have more information than we can fit on the pages of the newsletter. More than ever, we are using the power of modern technology to put that information directly in your hands efficiently. When you see either the alert

in the print or pdf version, you know that what you have in your hands is what we believe is the most essential information, but that there's more detail to the story available in the Email Extra edition. This version of
The Hunting Report will always offer you more details and even additional stories that we just can't get into the print edition.
Now, we are taking this idea another step forward. This month, as every month, we received more excellent, highly detailed hunt reports from subscribers than we could possibly print. Rather than just summarize in the More Reports column on page 15 and simply post the whole report in the database, we decided to post some reports with interesting or extended comments on our homepage,
http://www.huntingreport.com/ under Website Uploads, where any subscriber with access to a computer can read them. We've included these in your electronic version as well. What you get that other subscribers don't is instant access to all the other related reports and past articles we link to from the recent report. You still get a bigger, fuller, more detailed picture that helps you better understand a hunting opportunity.
The new cyber-reality lets us easily give you more of what you value - good, honest information to help you decide if a hunting opportunity is right for you. And we continue exploring ways to collect and present more information to you in a way that is convenient and meaningful and that allows you to quickly pick and choose the items you want to explore. We think you'll like what you see, and we hope you'll give us feedback on what works best for you. Our goal is to further increase the value of your Email Extra subscription in 2013.
