A number of you have written to us recently to let us know that you'd like to see more emphasis on "affordable" opportunities, not just high-end hunts. We're listening, and we're looking for more quality hunts on the lower end of the pricing spectrum. But the key word is actually "quality." What's an affordable hunt for one traveling hunter might be perceived a complete waste of time and money for another because the quality isn't there.
As Lance Stapleton (who has, by the way, uncovered a goldmine of affordable opportunities this month-see page Montana) so often points out: in the American West, many public land hunts that once produced both good trophies.....
