Last month, we ran a
brief update on the current situation in
Quebec caribou hunting. Long-time subscriber and caribou outfitter Richard Hume, of
Jack Hume Adventures, pointed out two ambiguities in that report which could possibly mislead interested hunters.
First, Lac Pau, where Hume now bases most of his operation (he also accesses camps from Kuujjuaq), remains a key jump-off point for hunting the Leaf River herd in Zone 23 West.....
