Uganda, Christian Weth of Uganda Wildlife Safaris (Christian.weth@uganda-wildlife-safaris.com) tells me he is expanding his operations a bit. I first learned of his plans from subscriber Doug Yajko, who hunted with Weth this past August in his Ngoma and Patwach camps. When I contacted Weth for more information he announced that he is developing a lodge in his Kafu concession to serve as his main base of operations.
The wilderness lodge will be located on a property Weth has purchased on the Mayanja River in the Kafu River Basin. He plans to offer lodging in elevated tents as well as in several cottages. The lodge will also have its own vegetable and herb garden as well as fruit trees. Weth even plans to offer the services of a professional Chinese chef from New York City as an upgrade.
