In Hawaii, we recently received three glowing reports on Pat Fisher's Hawaii Safaris (808-640-0755; www.hawaiisafaris.com). Continuing subscribers know Fisher's name well. Fisher operated the Ulupalakua Hunting Club on Maui in the 1990s and in 2001 became the wildlife/hunting manager of the famed Parker Ranch on the Big Island. In 2009 we reported that Fisher had left the Parker Ranch to operate Hawaii Safaris. Then, last May, we told you that Fisher had expanded his operation, now also called Fisher Outfitters (www.fisheroutfitters.com) to include hunts for Columbia whitetail and blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk in Oregon.
The first new report we received on Fisher is from Mike O'Malley who took a gold-medal mouflon, silver-medal axis deer and feral goat with Fisher this past January.
