Over in Zimbabwe, I received word of more big jumbo taken there this past March. Jannie Meyer of Lowveld Hunters (011-263-4-862-442; lowveldhunt@yoafrica.com) tells me his son and PH Stephen George Meyer led a client to a 90 x 86 pound elephant bull. Another client followed only days later with PH Johan Bezuidenhout and shot a 79 x 77 pound bull. (See photos in our online Trophy Gallery.) They hunted the Chibwedziva Campfire area adjacent Gonrezhou National Park, along the Runde River. You’ll recall the 100-pounder taken in Zimbabwe last month also came from an area adjacent Gonarezhou.....
