Subscriber Stan Atwood filed a report on an elk hunt in Arizona last September with Doyle Moss of Mossback Outfitters (877-682-2079; http://mossback.com). This is the same outfitter that produced the famous Spider Bull, the new Boone & Crockett world record elk in 2009. We first reported about this outfitter’s services and the huge elk he was producing back in 2007 (see Article ID 2059). According to Atwood, Moss continues to put his clients on 400-class elk.
Atwood says he already had an elk trophy that scored 398 B & C, but he wanted one that would break the 400 mark. So, he purchased the Arizona Governor’s Tag at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s convention and booked Moss to help him find his dream bull.....
