We love it when subscribers follow up on an opportunity they’ve discovered in the pages of The Hunting Report and then write to tell us about their hunt. That’s just what Angelo Hionis did this month when he filed his report on a bobcat hunt in Michigan. Last March we published an enthusiastic report from subscriber Scott Bylsma on this very hunt. Hionis saw the report and called Bill Massey, owner of Two Beavers and Cedar Creek Guide Service, the next day. He hunted with Massey and guide Keith Senske this past January and also gives the outfit rave reviews.
Hionis says Massey’s dogs are well trained and that there is “a ridiculous number” of bobcats in the area. He took two cats in three days, one 24 pounds and one 33 pounds. He says the terrain is easy walking and the hunt should be enjoyable for hunters of any age......
