Continuing subscribers are familiar with the name Rosich in reference to hunting in Spain. We have 14 reports in our database on brothers Francisco and Bruno Rosich and the company Hunt Trip Spain dating back to 1998. A little over a year ago, however, Bruno left Hunt Trip Spain and started his own hunting company, called Trophy Hunting Spain (www.trophyhuntingspain.com; 011-34-938-973-603). Now we have our first hunt report on Bruno Rosich’s company. It’s from subscriber Shawn Daily, who hunted with Rosich in Spain and France last November and sent us a glowing report about his hunt for Beceite ibex and fallow deer. He says, “The trip was beyond my expectations, which were high to begin with.”
Daily booked the hunt only for the Beceite ibex, and when he got his 225.5 CIC gold medal trophy on the second day, Daily asked if there was anything else to hunt. Rosich suggested they travel to Château de Laplanque in France. Didier Roques Rogery, who runs France Safaris at Château de Laplanque with his son and wife, said they had some great fallow trophies. Daily says that normally he would have balked at six hours cooped up in a car while traveling to France, but “Bruno is just a prince of a guy. He’s easy to get along with...like they say, I arrived as a stranger and left as a friend.....
