Wondering what’s happening with the George River Caribou herd in Quebec and Labrador and what it will mean for hunters? Well, the “official” numbers from the 2010 census have been released and, as predicted, the census count came in under 75,000 animals (74,131 to be precise), a drop of more than 90 percent since the high of 776,000 in the 1993 census.
