Continuing subscribers will remember our previous reports on the free-range red stag hunting in Argentina offered by a company called Four Seasons. Editor Barbara Crown first covered their hunts in 2003 after visiting the operation just north of Bariloche in the Andes Mountains. (See Article ID 1157.) Four Seasons owns 10,000 acres on Peninsula Huemul inside Nahuel Huapi National Park and conducts stag hunts there on foot and horseback. Called Los Baguales, the property features a rustic but charming mountain cabin overlooking the huge lake for which the park was named. Now we hear Four Seasons added two new red stag hunting venues to its operations. These new hunts are also for free-range stags, but according to correspondent Mel Toponce, each offers distinctly different terrains and hunting styles.....
