We have received another report from a subscriber who has recently hunted in Iran. This one is from Italian subscriber Uberto D’Entreves, who hunted this past October with a company called Iran Safari (www. iransafari.com). He reports taking a Kerman sheep he says could be the new No. 3 ram in the SCI record book (see photo in the Trophy Gallery section of our web site) and a Persian desert ibex. Here is how he described the experience: “I arrived in Teheran at 1 am and was met by a representative of Iran Safari who helped me clear my gun. The process took about 30 minutes. I was then taken to the company headquarters where I spent the night. I spent the next day in Teheran, too, waiting for my hunting permits to be delivered, and then left for the hunting area about noon the next day with my guide, Morad, who speaks English very well.....
