You’ve probably heard about long lines in front of US Passport agencies. Reports are that more than a million Americans are facing long delays obtaining a passport or renewing a current one. Even getting new pages in a passport has become a problem. Some travelers are having to cancel trips because of the problem.

Rush service (11 to 20 days) costs $149. And Regular service (21 or more days) is $109. The fees for helping you get a visa are as follows: $89 for a seven-day turnaround; $69 for a 17- to 20-day turnaround; and $49 for a 21-plus day turnaround. Again, those fees do not include any government fees involved.
There is one caveat that needs to be inserted here, and it is an important one: If you have already applied for a passport, or applied to renew one, Passport Express cannot help expedite delivery of an already ordered passport, nor can it submit a new passport application on your behalf. No other passport expediting service can either. This would result in your having two passport applications in the system at once, which is not permitted and is sure to be detected. The submission of more than one application may get you on a government list you do not want to be on. So, do not attempt to engage the services of Passport Express if you have already applied for a passport. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do but wait your turn in what could be a lengthy process.
If you have not already applied for a passport, or you need a visa, you can rest assured I have personally used Passport Express to renew my passport and to secure a visa to Cameroon. Everything was handled in an expeditious and professional manner, and I will certainly use them again. To be sure, I was not entirely happy with the wait time I experienced once on the phone with Passport Express (about 15 minutes), and you may also not be happy with it. But that is par for the course right now with all expediting firms. They are all swamped. To their credit, Passport Express offers callers the opportunity to leave their phone number for a call back later.
