"Hunters will likely see 10 to 15 bears every day averaging between eight and nine feet. I passed on many bears and finally shot a real monster on the last day, a 10-foot bear with a 27-inch skull. This is excellent hunting in pristine snow-covered mountains with hot springs and volcanoes. I recommend bringing a face mask and ski goggles. We had excellent accommodations, a warm and dry wooden house with nice beds (no cots or sleeping bags). The cook made delicious meals every day."
