Over the past 30 years, Quebec caribou hunts have generated more negative reports than perhaps any other spot on earth. Many of these were the direct result of hype-heavy marketing, when herds numbered in the millions, and the resulting unrealistic hunter expectations. But as the number of caribou has dwindled, so has the number of caribou outfitters and the number of hunters and the number of complaints - until recent months when we've suddenly received a number of negative reports on Safari Nordik. The complaints fall into two categories: hunts not delivered and hunts not delivered as promised.

Gib Lewis tells us that he and his hunting partner Frank Romeo booked a "Platinum Package" caribou hunt with Safari Nordik at the cost of $8,100 for each hunter.......
