, Robert LaGrone tells us he hunted Siberian ibex this past August in Kyrgyzstan with Arpa-Marco Polo Hunting Service Company (firstname.lastname@example.org
). His hunt was organized by Kay Akmatbekov, who is the outfitter's son-in-law. We contacted LaGrone in a follow-up email for more details on his hunt. LaGrone says that he hunted near the town of Naryn, in the Tian Shan mountains near the border of China:
"There was a lot of time in the saddle on this hunt. It took two days of riding from basecamp before we got to the higher areas where the ibex were. We saw a lot of animals, including at least two bigger than the one I shot, which was 36 inches.......
