As you may be aware, Australia's Northern Territory is the only place on earth to take a legal banteng. For many years the species was found and hunted only in Garig Gunak Barlu National Park (formerly Cobourg National Park) on the Cobourg Peninsula (350 kilometers east of Darwin), but the fence enclosing the peninsula from the rest of the Northern Territory has long since fallen into disrepair and a population of banteng established itself outside the park in neighboring Arnhem Land.....
