In Botswana, you might think that the impending closure of hunting in government areas next year would mean further reductions in opportunities this season, but I received word that those special annual auctions for additional elephant quotas have taken place. Rann also has CT1, so he has a huge contiguous area here. NG8 borders the Western Okavango Delta and features lots of flood waters, which attracts elephant.
On July 19, Rann still had one opening for this season. If you are interested, contact him immediately. Just be aware, there is a $50,000 deposit, which will be applied to the trophy fee. That fee is $1,000 per pound on the heaviest tusk only......
